DIVA have 3 office tables surplus to requirements.
2 of them are Ikea black, round legged tables 60x120x72 as new, £10 each.
The third is a sturdy, square wooden worktable
, not as new, but free to a good home.

Knottingley Concert Brass
KCB is a friendly, local brass band that puts on many concerts in the local area, but is not involved in contesting and we are always on the look out for possible new players.

WAKEFIELD MUSIC COLLECTIVE
Wakefield Music Collective have been in existence since 1991 and organise the very successful Clarence Park Festival which is a 2 day annual event at the end of July.
We raise the funds ourselves and also organise various other events throughout the year and we are always on the lookout for bands.
We meet at the Bull and Fairhouse, George Street, Wakefield 8.00 for 8.30 p.m. Our next meeting is 19 January 2011, then 2 February and so on.

We bring Pontefract's history to life. We write and produce our own plays that include comedy, drama, romance, the supernatural and the occasional....murder!
We are keen to recruit new members.

AGM 2011 - UPDATE

The AGM was held at The Chantry Chapel, Kirkgate, Wakefield on Tuesday 13th September at 7pm.

The well attended meeting saw a good cross section of DIVA members present. And all enjoyed the networking session and refreshments.

Accountant Steve Flicker presented a review of the accounts and emphasised the positive financial situation. The auditors accounts were presented and accepted by the meeting.

The CEO's report was presented by Chair Anna Bowman on behalf of the outgoing CEO, Marissa Wakefield, who has taken up her new post.

The meeting discussed and set new membership fees. These being £8 per annum for individual members and groups of 10 members or less. £15 for groups of 10+.

Outgoing Chair, Anna Bowman, was thanked for her work and committment over the past 4 years and presented with a bouquet.

After the official work of the evening entertainment was a poetry reading provided by members of the Black Horse Poets and Access Poets. Brian Holding showed his photographic presentation on 'Gargoyles, Green Men, and Grotesques'.

Refreshments were managed by Shirley Holding, Kate Dickinson and Pat Bonallie.
