The Charter Players

bring Pontefract's history to life. We write and produce our own plays that include comedy, drama, romance, the supernatural and the occasional....murder!

We are keen to recruit new members.
If you are interested in acting or working backstage, we have the opportunity for you to shine.
We have at present two plays to perform, but are unable due to reduced membership.

The Charter Players normally meet at The United Reformed Church, The Croft, Knottingley.
Please contact us, we'd love to hear from you! Chris Gibson 07999140628 email chris@centrestage.freeserve.co.uk John Wadsworth 01977 612263 email john31@talktalk.net

Pontefract Choral Society
is seeking
a new conductor

to start in
September 2009.

We are a small (40-50 members), well established society that likes to sing a wide range of classical music. With no large reserves behind us, we can only offer a modest salary.

We are seeking someone who perhaps would like to gain more experience of conducting a choral society.

For informal enquiries contact our chairman:
Peter Cookson 11 Hardwick Crescent Pontefract Tele: 01977 792530
