Ad Lib Gallery This small compact gallery adjoins Drury Lane Library and despite limited facilities does offer space for seminars, exhibitions, meetings and workshops. The gallery has a floor space of 33' x 29' with a small fixed stage area. Seating for up to 60 people, portable tables and a flip-chart can be provided. Sandal Castle The remains of this 13th
century stone castle stand in a commanding position overlooking the River
Calder. Best known for its involvement in the Wars of the Roses and the
English Civil War its rich history offers opportunities for events which
will enhance this important historical landmark. St. Austin's Parish Centre Main theatre/hall equipped

Stanley Community Centre
and Library Stanley Community Centre is open 6 days a week. Facilities include a large hall with optional seating and staging, 2 meeting rooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The rooms are available to hire at reasonable rates and can be used for conferences, large functions, parties, meetings and seminars. There is full disabled access and ample free parking. Treacy Hall A light and airy octagonal hall adjacent to Wakefield Cathedral. Suitable for functions, with a capacity for conferences of approximately 120 and entertaining of 90 seated or 150 standing. seat venue. Wakefield Art Gallery Wakefield Art Gallery has an impressive, permanent collection featuring important works by Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth as well as other prominent modern artists. There is a varied programme of temporary exhibitions, which often includes space for artists of merit with regional and/or local connections. Yorkshire Sculpture Park YSP Education can provide tours, talks & workshops with artists/facilities for all ages and abilities.
